Halle McCormick has been teaching group fitness classes since 2005. She began this mission teaching cardio-kickboxing, but now teaches everything from bootcamps, cycle, circuit and core.

- continued to play tennis after graduating and represented Mid Town Tennis as their number one singles player.

After a successful career in sales at News America Marketing, Halle McCormick stopped working full time to stay home with her first daughter. But, it was not long before she went back to work but, in a much different field. Because of her love for fitness, Halle entered the industry in 2005 teaching cardio-kickboxing. She fell in love with group fitness and she now teaches everything from bootcamps, cycle, circuit and core. She is a certified group fitness instructor through ACE (American Council on Exercise). She also holds a bootcamp certification from the Fit to Fight program and a Cycle certification from Schwinn. Halle is a fitness enthusiast and has completed many triathlons, half marathons, 10 and 5k races and 10 marathons – including the Boston Marathon in 2011. She continues to race in her spare time. She is currently working to complete her Personal Training certification. She lives in Western Springs and has 3 kids, Anna (14), Lauren (12) and Timmy (9).
I have known Halle for years and not only is she a good friend but someone I admire tremendously, for many reasons. One reason being she is a die hard when it comes to fitness! We have had fun training for half marathons, all kinds of races and motivating each other on morning runs for years. I was basically a runner at heart and never felt the need to do anything else because I was satisfied with the "runners high" and the calories I burned doing it. For the last 3 years, I have been addicted to her classes, rarely miss and have seen a change in my muscle tone that I never really knew that I was lacking. Halle is highly educated, excited and passionate about what she does and it shows every time you enter her class. Her classes are well thought out, very challenging, fun, inspirational and she maximizes every minute you are there. She challenges all fitness levels, kicks your butt and never leaves anyone out. Thank you Halle for introducing me to weights, educating me about the power of strength and a better way to stay fit. I would highly recommend any of your classes. You are the bomb!
I have benefited from Halle's Circuit class for several years. I love that each class is different and I feel like I have worked all areas of my body when I'm done. Halle's upbeat attitude motivates us to do our best and the modifications she offers allow students to get the most from each workout. I always look forward to class with Halle!
